Centro Hispano de Frederick is in immediate need of an office manager/grant seeker. This position would be on a voluntary basis until funding for this position comes through. Candidate would set her/his own hours, as long as the job gets done.

Ideal candidate should be…

  • Proficient in English; some Spanish helpful but not necessary
  • Internet-search savvy
  • Good writer / Excellent communication skills
  • Professional and discreet / Detailed and task-oriented

We are specifically looking for someone who will maintain office files, keep track of emails and phone messages, work with accountant to ensure non-profit status is in compliance with all its state and federal obligations, help plan and organize fundraisers, report to and update the Director on a regular basis.
